Vera Lis paints a frontal close-up of a giraffe’s head against a soft turquoise-green background. Loose brushstrokes build the cream, ochre, and brown markings, while the large ears, dark glossy eyes, and rounded muzzle give the animal a direct, alert presence. The neck drops out of frame, and a small signature sits at the lower right.
